The Aristocratic Standard Lamp

My story components are the the aristocratic standardlamp.

I started by looking up a few definisions of aristocratic.

1. A member of a ruling class or of the nobility.
2. A person having the tastes, manners, or other characteristics of the aristocracy: a natural aristocrat who insists on the best accommodations.
3. A person who advocates government by an aristocracy.
4. One considered the best of its kind: the aristocrat of cars.

and a few words from the thersaurus.

noble
titled
patrician
upper class

refined
well bred
patrician
noble

snobbish
condescending
superior

I have also got a few images of different types of standardlamps.

I would probably design my standard lamp with a traditional look in mind.
As a basic premise for my story, I thought of a situation where an aristocratic standard lamp is bought from auction and placed in a tatty flat with tatty things in it. It would then be a matter of working out how he would act in this place.

  1. Hey Ethan,

Below - the famous Ascot scene from My Fair Lady - might be useful in terms of pose and walks etc.
